"Parenting Your Way"
Are you tired of struggling to get things done in your family when you need to and how you want to?
Do you want to get more done while nurturing your family relationships and enjoying your family time even more?
“Parenting Your Way”
is likely to be the answer you are seeking.
We offer programmes and seminars for:
- Parents – both new and experienced
- Single, Separated or Divorced Parents – how to make parenting work for all parties
- Integrating parents – how to integrate two families into one
- Teenagers and their parents – how to enable both parties to hear the other!
- The whole family – helping them all to achieve what they want.
This unique programme is specifically tailored to helping you connect your approach to parenting with your goals and dreams for your family.
How you go about achieving your goals will influence your relationships with your children AND your partner.
Imagine the peace and calm in your home as you achieve what needs to be done, with all family members being listened to and considered. Everyone is happy – including you!
Learn these essential parenting concepts, so you and your partner achieve your family aspirations and goals together, more often, more successfully, with less stress.
Your unique personal programme is based on how you prefer to achieve your gaols. It will help to take the guess work out of your family relationships enabling you both to understand:
- What makes you (both) tick,
- Where others in your family are coming from,
- Why you do the things you do and don’t do other things!
- How you can connect and act so that everyone feels involved, valued and satisfied.
Each parent, parenting partner and teenager can have their own document detailing their preferred ways of getting things done. Included is advice on how to use a simple process to reach their desired outcomes while making sure that everyone in the family is heard. This is supported in a series of workshops or individual parent/carer coaching.
Parent Effectiveness Training (P.E.T.)
Parents say that they want more time for pleasurable activities with their families, and what can make that happen is for parents to learn how to base their relationships on trust, acceptance and understanding, so they waste less time on problem-solving and conflict-resolution.

In this parenting course, I guide parents to:
- Appreciate the importance of their role
- Honour childhood as a very special stage of life
- Develop realistic expectations
- Communicate openly about feelings, needs, and values
- Maintain an attitude which fosters the child’s self esteem, self-management and natural curiosity
- Find the meaning behind some typical behaviours of children
- Solve problems using a method that ensures everyone’s needs are met
- Resolve and prevent conflict through strategies which show respect, trust and understanding
